Delete your account

Two ways to do it, depending on whether the app is still on your phone.

From the app

This is the faster option, and it takes effect immediately. It only appears once you've paired with someone, so if you're signed in alone, use the email option below instead.

  1. Open Clovie and go to Us.
  2. Tap the sync card to open Shared account, and sign in if you are not already.
  3. Near the bottom, tap Delete your account, then confirm.

This removes your sign-in itself. Nothing of yours stays on this phone, and it cannot be undone. If someone is still paired with you, the calendar, list, recipes and everything else you both wrote stay exactly as they were for that person. Only your own seat and sign-in are removed.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, sign in below the same way you would in the app, and this page deletes your account immediately, the same as the in-app option above.

or with the email and password you signed up with

Can't sign in at all, for example you forgot your password and the account has no Google sign-in? Email hello@clovie.eu from the address your account uses and ask for it to be deleted by hand instead.

A copy you saved earlier

A copy you exported yourself is an ordinary file wherever you saved it. Deleting your account does not affect it. Removing that file, if you want it gone too, is a separate step.
