What's new
Everything that changed, version by version, newest first. The newest build is 1.0.10 (build 159). Written as each change was made, so nothing here is a guess.
1.0.10 · 27 September 2026
- Fixed: Reminders ring. Every event reminder and the period nudge was being scheduled and then dropped by the phone; they ring now, and survive a restart.
- Fixed: Names no longer go blank on paired phones. The repair that erased them is gone, and pairing never copies one person's profile over the other's.
- New: The shopping list is one tick and one name per line. The plus adds what you typed, a swipe to the right opens a line, a swipe to the left removes it with Undo, and "You usually buy" learns from the last three months.
- Improved: A toast never covers the plus button, on any tab.
- Improved: The calendar has the same header as every other tab, the week and day views keep titles whole, and a line under the month says what the colours mean.
- Improved: Removing an event, a recipe, a food entry, a routine, a weigh-in, a period or a message offers Undo instead of asking first.
- Improved: Editors open as normal pages with Save at the top, and quick edits are sheets.
- Improved: Every empty screen has a line you can tap to do the first thing.
- Improved: The plus is a circle in every look, the same icon means the same thing everywhere, and adding is one verb in Portuguese.
- New: With the shared account on the paid Firebase tier, a message, an event or a change to the list reaches the other phone as a notification while the app is closed.
1.0.9 · 23 September 2026
- New: The plus button in the corner logs a period on the day it actually began, and opens it so the end goes in too.
- New: A period's own sheet gives an open period its end, names both dates, and can delete it.
- Improved: The period entries show they open, with an arrow like every other list.
- Fixed: Correcting a period's start no longer lets the next tap on Period started write over it.
- Fixed: A period left open behind a newer one can be closed.
- New: A period day in the calendar opens the period from the day's list.
- Improved: The personal page no longer offers to switch which of you this phone is.
- Fixed: The ball on the cycle ring follows the finger all the way round, with a tick per day, instead of scrolling the page.
- Improved: The training pages are named on a strip you can tap: Progress, Routines, Overview, History, Records.
- Improved: New routine is a button on the Routines page.
- Improved: A routine is a card with a Start button. Tapping it opens the routine, where it can be started, duplicated or deleted.
- New: New exercise is a button under the exercise search, and it takes whatever was typed with it.
1.0.8 · 21 August 2026
- Fixed: When a phone re-syncs its calendar, the other person no longer sees edits that changed nothing.
- Fixed: The same calendar shared from both phones shows each event once.
- Improved: A phone event shared by hand, or made ours, never comes back doubled, even after the copy is edited.
- Fixed: The kitchen dot only clears once the shopping list is actually the one on screen, not just from opening the Kitchen tab.
- Fixed: The number on the Home tab no longer repeats what the message button at the top of Home already shows.
- Fixed: An event from your partner's phone calendar now says so, the same as one from your own.
- Improved: Clearer error messages, empty-state hints and a few small wording fixes across the app.
- Improved: The cycle mood labels no longer assume it's a woman logging them, and a calendar notification name stopped saying "Partner."
- Fixed: The next-period line on the Home tab no longer clips.
1.0.7 · 21 August 2026
- New: Dots on the Calendar and Kitchen tabs when the other person changed something you have not seen.
- New: The shopping list keeps a history of what was bought, behind the clock icon, day by day and with who picked it up.
- New: Make it ours turns a synced phone event into a normal event for both of you.
- New: One notification when the other one of you adds things while your app is closed, saying who and how many.
- Improved: Turning a phone calendar on shares it with the other person, and any single event can still be taken back out.
- Improved: An empty personal page asks for your name, and saying which of you this phone is takes one tap.
- Improved: Shorter, plainer wording across the app.
- Improved: The shopping add box shows that quantities work, like 2 milk.
- Fixed: Nicknames typed on either phone survive the account repair.
- Fixed: Cycle tracking stays with the right person after a repair.
- Fixed: A synced calendar no longer shows an event twice after the phone renumbers it.
1.0.6 · 15 August 2026
- New: Report a problem, at the foot of Us under About.
- Fixed: A shared account the copying bug had already written over now puts itself right on the next update.
- Improved: After one of you deletes their account, the next person to join lands on the free side.
- Fixed: The phone that joined no longer copies the other person's name and things onto your side when the app opens.
- Fixed: A row moves the moment you have held it, not half a second later.
- Improved: A past day is written the same way wherever it heads a row.
- New: Sugar, salt and fibre are shown at last, on the day's food and on a recipe.
- New: Events and recipes can be swiped away like everything else.
- New: A recipe says when you last cooked it, so you can see at a glance what you have had recently.
- New: The food day adds up protein, carbs and fat as well as calories, the same four numbers a recipe shows.
- New: The period history says how heavy each one was.
- Improved: Swiping a row away works the same on every list.
- New: One day of a repeating event can be changed or taken off on its own.
- New: A training session tapped in the calendar opens.
- New: The shopping list has a plus button at the bottom right.
- New: Every line on the shopping list has a pencil.
- New: Clearing the bought things off the shopping list can be taken back.
- New: A logged food can be put right.
- New: A food saved to the household list can be corrected or removed; the way to it now sits beside the name.
- New: Which of you this phone is can be changed after setup, from the personal page.
- Improved: Every list in the app is reordered the same way now: hold a row, then move it.
- Improved: A thing moves between aisles with a finger.
- Improved: Ticking something off the shopping list leaves it on the list, crossed out, instead of taking it away.
- Improved: Nothing hides behind holding a row any more.
- Improved: The custom exercise editor and the food editor ask before they let half-typed work go, the way the recipe, the routine and the event already did.
- Improved: The recipe editor watches the whole form, not just the title, ingredients and steps.
- Improved: What is coming up on the home screen says what time it is, and a trip that leaves at six in the evening shows the hour under the days it covers.
- Improved: A meal planned from a recipe, and an event copied off the phone's own calendar, arrive with the same reminder the form would have put on them.
- Fixed: The gym says why a set was not written down.
- Fixed: A whole-day event's reminder is read back the way it was picked, "Morning before" rather than "15 hours before".
- Fixed: Searching for a food with no signal now says the food database could not be reached, instead of saying nothing was found.
1.0.5 · 12 and 13 August 2026
- New: A phone calendar can be shared whole.
- New: An event from the phone's own calendar can be copied to the shared calendar with one tap, "Put it on our calendar".
- Improved: Every error message now follows the phone's language.
- Improved: Back behaves the way Android promises.
- Improved: Ticking off, saving a set, a swipe-delete and a new record each give the small standard buzz.
- Improved: The striped testing block on the Us screen is gone; the example-data tools now exist only in development builds.
- Fixed: An event added in Google Calendar shows up when you switch back to Clovie, instead of waiting for the app to be reopened.
- Fixed: Turning the notification permission off no longer erases the scheduled reminders.
- Fixed: The "You usually buy" suggestions no longer learn from the example data; only what you tick off yourselves teaches the list.
- Fixed: The food log left open across midnight wakes up on the new day instead of staying pinned to yesterday.
- Fixed: A pairing code that went stale mends itself the moment the account screen shows it.
- Fixed: At the biggest text sizes the cycle card wraps a fertile window that crosses into the next month instead of cutting it off.
1.0.4 · 7 and 8 August 2026
- New: Your best is marked with a star, in your own colour.
- New: A new event comes with a reminder already on it, half an hour before, or nine the morning before for a whole-day event.
- New: The Us screen has a Notifications section.
- New: A quiet word at eight the evening before a period is expected, once three cycles are logged.
- New: Recipes can be filtered by how long they take.
- New: A finger held on the cycle ring reads it out day by day.
- New: Weights can be read in pounds.
- Improved: A set is written down the moment you save it.
- Improved: Building a workout, routine, recipe or event is a full page now, and backing out half-written asks first.
- Improved: Adding an exercise starts from the muscle groups, and each exercise has its own page with history and graph.
- Improved: Any exercise can be renamed from a visible pencil, keeping its history and graph, and the new name shows on both phones.
- Improved: Either of you can keep a cycle, or both, or neither.
- Improved: The look, language and confetti are each phone's own; names, nicknames, colours and pronouns stay shared.
- Improved: The licences list now includes Manrope, the app's font.
- Fixed: A period stops saying "Happening now" once its days are over.
- Fixed: Your calendar and reminders only ever use your own period, not a blend of both people's.
- Fixed: The shopping list shows as many things as it used to; a taller row had pushed four of fourteen items off the bottom of the screen.
- Fixed: A whole-day event's reminder row no longer overflows; the choices read "Morning before" and "Evening before".
1.0.3 · 6 August 2026
- New: The weight, exercise and progress charts can be tapped or dragged to read the exact value and date behind any point.
- Improved: An invite code now expires after a while, so an old code shared by accident cannot still be used much later.
- Fixed: The days-together count no longer reads below zero when the start date sits in the future.
- Fixed: Joining a household can no longer place both partners on the same side; it is caught and corrected automatically.
- Fixed: Profiles and shared preferences sync properly between phones instead of one phone's change overwriting the other's.
- Fixed: Two phones in different time zones can no longer disagree about which of two changes is newer.
1.0.1 · 28 July to 1 August 2026
- New: The shopping list offers live suggestions while you type, ranked by your own past purchases, and grows a search box once it holds more than six items.
- New: Log Food has a scan button that fills in the product from its barcode.
- New: A shopping item can be dragged within its aisle or moved to another aisle from a long press, and the order sticks.
- New: A custom exercise can be created right from the picker, with its own muscle group and equipment; renaming it later keeps its history and records.
- New: Ingredients, steps and exercises reorder by dragging their rows, the same way the shopping list already worked.
- New: Each person can choose how they are referred to in the app: he/him, she/her or they/them.
- New: Accounts can be deleted for good from Shared account under Us, and there are three new accent colours and a Sweet theme.
- New: Sharing an invite sends a real link that opens Clovie on the other phone with the code already filled in.
- New: There is a hidden game somewhere in the app, and July taught it sound, speed and manners.
- Improved: The gym screen is five pages, Progress, Overview, Routines, History and Records, and swiping works from anywhere on the page.
- Improved: Cycle tracking is personal to whoever logs it.
- Improved: Each side can only edit their own name; nicknames stay editable by either phone.
- Improved: Colours, chips, row titles and tap-arrows line up consistently across Training, Kitchen, Today and the shopping list.
- Improved: Cook mode uses the servings you scaled to, and "Start cooking" sits right below the servings control.
- Improved: New messages show a mark until the thread is opened.
- Improved: Exercise search finds a name with or without its accent, in either language.
- Fixed: Adding an item already on the shopping list updates the existing line instead of printing it twice.
- Fixed: The calendar shades an open period for as long as your own periods actually last, and catches up to today on its own after midnight.
- Fixed: Day numbers at the largest text size no longer clip, in any calendar view.
- Fixed: A period logged with a future date no longer crashes the edit dialog.
- Fixed: A save interrupted by lost signal retries quietly in the background.
- Fixed: Tightened the rules around who can make changes to the shared household.
